SGN-OX.5/2 is a multiservice platform providing communication services with high reliability and minimal latency. The hybrid system supports both packet and TDM technologies for easy migration of communication networks while maintaining critical and special services. The SGN-OX system is designed for use in critical infrastructure, technological communication, protection, or remote control of power transmission technologies, dispatch communication, and communication of protection devices in transport networks.
SGN-OX.5/2 is the packet-based successor to the TDM-based PCM30U-OCH product family. The modular design offers, among other features, redundant central modules, 10GbE/1GbE/FE Ethernet, L2 switch, VLAN, POE, MPLS, STM-16/4/1, E1, FXO/FSX voice, 4w/2w E&M, low latency, 1 ms distance protection commands, IEC 61850 MMS, GOOSE, and IEEE C37.94, Nx64 differential protection.
